Today we are making a simple Southern classic, crispy and crunchy, dredged in cornmeal, and fried until golden brown … yessss it’s my Authentic Fried Okra recipe. Not only does it make my mouth water just by saying the words, but it's also a great way to enjoy your local Farmer's Market fresh produce!
★ SOUTHERN FRIED OKRA RECIPE ★
► Fresh From the Garden Okra, soaked and cut to approx. 1/2 inch slices
► Morton's Kosher Salt
► White Lily All-Purpose Flour
► White Lily Cornmeal Mix
► Black Pepper
► SECRET INGREDIENT: Texas Pete Dust
► Mix above in Brown Paper Bag or Ziplock
► Shake! Shake! Shake! Your Okra!
► Crisco Cooking Oil
► Fry Until Cipsy Golden Brown
► Y'all Enjoy!
