Hello friends, welcome back to My Kitchen! My Rules!
I have one of my Grandma’s old fashioned cake recipes for you! This Buttermilk Pound Cake recipe never goes out of style and simply melts in your mouth. You can pair it with fruit and fresh whipped cream and serve with coffee to make one of the best desserts for your family and friends.
Jump up and down near your stove, make some big racket. You need to be really aggressive in the space, near your oven so your pound cake can get a sad streak.
You’ll notice that on a good pound cake you get that little top cracked ring going on, which is, frankly, just a lot of goodness. When I put my knife in to see if it's done, it should come out with just a little gushy goodness, which tells me there's a sad streak from jumping up and down.
Check out my video for some other special tips and tricks to help you make the perfect pound cake. If you give this recipe a try, comment below and send me a picture!
