Southern Fig Preserves

August 19, 2020

Hello friends, welcome back to My Kitchen! My Rules!

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you've noticed that I have an abundance of figs coming out of my fig tree right now. So here’s a recipe you can do with fresh figs. Frankly dried just can't stand up to.

We are going to make easy, southern Fig Preserves.  It tastes so sweet and rich, you will find yourself scraping inside the jar to get the last drop!

This recipe is a two-day process, but it is so easy – all you need is your fresh figs, lemon slices, Dixie Crystals sugar, and Ball mason jars.  You can pair your finished preserves with crackers and prosciutto for a savory treat. If you have fresh figs I recommend that you give this recipe a try, let me know how it turns out and send me a picture!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ If you don't have fresh figs, well, you know a REALTOR® that does!

Leave me a comment saying I WANT A DIXIE CRYSTAL #COUPON, and I will make sure you get one.
