Leigh Brown, Past President of NC REALTORS® (2023), presented at the Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS® Broker-in-Charge Summit, held at CCAR headquarters in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on May 11, 2022.
The Broker-in-Charge Summit is a room of the people who run offices, and Leigh's session, "Finding Your REALTOR, 'Why?'", went straight at what keeps a brokerage together: recruitment and retention, and building a team of REALTORS® who operate at the highest level. She has run her own firm for years, so she wasn't theorizing about the broker's chair. She was talking from it, to peers who sat through the same market updates and fair-housing briefings she did that morning before her session.
