National Real Estate Ethics Day®

Leigh Brown, Past President of NC REALTORS® (2023), taught National Real Estate Ethics Day®, her own nationwide broadcast, streamed live to participating REALTOR® associations on July 30, 2026.

National Real Estate Ethics Day® is Leigh's own program, and its premise is plain: the fastest way to raise professionalism is to actually work the tool the industry already has. Across a live broadcast, associations tuned their members in for a walk through all 17 Articles of the NAR Code of Ethics, paired with real-world case studies and a running chat where ethics panelists answered questions in real time. The Code has guided REALTORS® for more than a century, and Leigh's throughline was that understanding it, applying it, and talking about it out loud is how members build trust and stand out. The day carried a Fair Housing component and an extended CE-eligible hour, and every dollar raised benefited the REALTORS® Relief Foundation.
