Leigh Brown, host of the 570-episode Real Talk with Leigh Brown podcast, gave the leadership keynote at the Women's Council of REALTORS® California Spring Meeting & Election, held at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel, April 23–25, 2022.

Spring-meeting weekends are where a council does its real work, governing-board check-ins, first-time attendees finding their footing, and an election that decides who leads next. Leigh closed the program with a leadership keynote aimed at exactly those people: members stepping up to run something. Candid, practical, and allergic to fluff, she talks to volunteer leaders the way she talks to everyone else, like they can handle the truth and would rather have it than a pep talk. That is a useful thing to hear right before you vote on who leads you next.
