I like to marinate mine in buttermilk and then dredge it in seasoned flour not once, but twice to get that perfect crispy crust. Of course it wouldn't be the real deal if we didn't add a kick, so make sure you've got some Texas Pete on hand!

I'm a big fan of quick and easy recipes, especially those using ingredients you likely already have on-hand your pantry. My skillet cornbread is no exception! All you need is a few minutes to make the batter, and 20 minutes or so to bake and SHAZAM. Cornbread from scratch, that even I can do. Oh, and you can, too!
